By working in many layers, using spatial effects and sounds as well as brainwaves, we want to paint an atmosphere that paints a landscape in the soul through the gates of each pair of ears. The basic track is a playful and energetic version in which Juanita and Marijn use their voices to direct the "atmosphere" of the Mariri of the song: Icaros and ceremonial improvisations in contact with the spirits of the different realms. At the beginning of the song you will hear a short improvisation by Marijn, recorded during a ceremony in the jungle of Peru (Mayantuyacu), while Maestro Juan Flores blows off the other participants in the ceremony with Tobacco (soplado). From there the song is built up further through the spheres. In the middle of the song we bring movement to the spheres and an energetic whirlwind of chakapas (leaf bundle) is created to whip up the rhythm. Djembé, Talking drum, mouth harp and flutes create a hypnotic rhythm as the Peuhl flute screams its way through the landscape. After this we plunge back into tranquility and briefly enter the underwater realms of the Yakuruna; crystal temples deep below the water's surface where ancient wisdom about the water kingdoms is shared with you. This musical painting ends with a profound icaro to put everything down and connect what you feel deeper within you. This icaro sings about different plants and focuses on the pure energy of these medicine plants.

• Preferably use good quality headphones. The sounds and brainwaves work with the stereo image. So it is necessary to create a clear separation between the left and right sides (hearing / brain halves). If you are not really familiar with brainwaves, we recommend that you get background information via the link above.

• For the rhythmic track(4) it is better to work without headphones. A good, powerful speaker can reach your entire body , feeling the sounds resonate to your bones.

• Order - Depending on the moment you determine the order of the numbers. The basic song is good for any time of the day. But if you listen to the dreamscape / brainwave edit during the day, we recommend that after this deep relaxation moment you end with the rhythmic song and ground yourself before continuing with your day.

Last year (nov 2020) at the start of the Season's Shift I decided to create a soundscape. A sound bath to drift off and meditate. Initially this was going to be a project by myself without Juanita. One song to put on Spotify, that would be it. But in the end it turned out to be much more than that. Juanita joined and Hovering the Realms turned out to be much more than I had hoped. After the first track was finished in its raw form, I found the sound palette of the background brainwaves and nature sounds too rich to use for this track alone. So track 2 was born, an extra long deep nature-brainwave journey. After extensive testing on myself it felt necessary to add an extra song to round it up and not let the listener "hang" between the spheres. In Flor del Tobacco I brought in the energy of the Tobacco to conclude your ceremony. To clean the aura and to add a protective layer. It was a huge work to continue to listen and edut these kinds of intense long songs with a strong focus to be able to place all sounds in the space and not to drift away in the process of creation. Going through a song and listening for mistakes, correct clicks, volumes and panning… was not easy with these long tracks. Every time I almost went into meditation myself, causing me to lose details from the "ear". A good focus exercise. Now I can also enjoy the end result myself and just go on a journey with this music. I regularly do a breathing session or deep meditation on Hovering the realms early in the morning, it takes me deep within myself to parts I could not reach before. Grateful to be my own shaman. It is only now that it becomes clear to me what kind of project this actually is, I felt guided through the entire process and only now can I see and feel fully in letting go of all this. IMPORTANT LISTENING TIPS

• Preferably use good quality headphones. The sounds and brainwaves work with the stereo image. So it is necessary to create a clear separation between the left and right sides (hearing / brain halves). If you are not really familiar with brainwaves, we recommend that you get background information via the link above.

• For the rhythmic track(4) it is better to work without headphones. A good, powerful speaker can reach your entire body , feeling the sounds resonate to your bones.

• Order - Depending on the moment you determine the order of the numbers. The basic song is good for any time of the day. But if you listen to the dreamscape / brainwave edit during the day, we recommend that after this deep relaxation moment you end with the rhythmic song and ground yourself before continuing with your day.

• Do not listen to the dreamscape in the car. Ideal before going to sleep.

Last year (nov 2020) at the start of the Season's Shift I decided to create a soundscape. A sound bath to drift off and meditate. Initially this was going to be a project by myself without Juanita. One song to put on Spotify, that would be it. But in the end it turned out to be much more than that. Juanita joined and Hovering the Realms turned out to be much more than I had hoped. After the first track was finished in its raw form, I found the sound palette of the background brainwaves and nature sounds too rich to use for this track alone. So track 2 was born, an extra long deep nature-brainwave journey. After extensive testing on myself it felt necessary to add an extra song to round it up and not let the listener "hang" between the spheres. In Flor del Tobacco I brought in the energy of the Tobacco to conclude your ceremony. To clean the aura and to add a protective layer. It was a huge work to continue to listen and edut these kinds of intense long songs with a strong focus to be able to place all sounds in the space and not to drift away in the process of creation. Going through a song and listening for mistakes, correct clicks, volumes and panning… was not easy with these long tracks. Every time I almost went into meditation myself, causing me to lose details from the "ear". A good focus exercise. Now I can also enjoy the end result myself and just go on a journey with this music. I regularly do a breathing session or deep meditation on Hovering the realms early in the morning, it takes me deep within myself to parts I could not reach before. Grateful to be my own shaman. It is only now that it becomes clear to me what kind of project this actually is, I felt guided through the entire process and only now can I see and feel fully in letting go of all this.
